The Subterranean STORM is moving rapidly toward completion. Charles Vess has almost completed the black and white interior art, and will soon be tackling the next of the color plates. Bill Schafer has posted some more samples on Subterranean’s website for those who’d like a taste. This should be a gorgeous book. SubPress will be issuing it in two volumes, in a deluxe signed numbered edition limited to 448 copies and a super-deluxe lettered state limited to 52. Both will be slipcased, and lavishly illustrated by the inimitable Charles. |
