Registered Arya
Mary Beth Fleming writes from Louisiana to say, "Attached is a photo of my daughter's new dog, Arya. Her fiance, Josh, found it in a pet store and fell in love with the precious pup . . . Arya is called a Chorkie. . . half Chihuahua and half Yorkie and is actually registered. My daughter was upset when I called her an expensive mutt. So now I call her a registered mutt, and that seems to be acceptable. . .Josh and I [are] . . . both big fans of your fire and ice series and can't wait for the next one to come out (I hope I'm not keeping you from working on it). Bonnie has refrained from reading your books, so she wasn't familar with the characters, although she likes to play to board game -- A Game of Thrones. Josh and I both love the character Arya. After a . . . whole lot of persuasion from me and Josh, we talked Bonnie into naming her just that, Arya. The puppy is very popular, and everyone seems to love the name. It fits her."
