Reader Ed Curtis sends this picture. "The other day I realized that my office cube was quite drab," he writes, "so I thought that I would whip something out to give it a little more character. One weekend later and I've now got myself a version of Sir Duncan the Tall's shield. It's a little small for him, but I have limited cube space and I'm guessing it's about half scale. My goal was to make it look pretty worn from heavy use and then a little rusted like it was left in a basement for a while and not taken care of. "

It's a great shield, Ed. Even Tanselle couldn't have painted it much better.
