Remember me?<\/p>\n

It’s been a while, I know.\u00a0 My last blog post went up here on February 19.\u00a0 \u00a0The posts that came after were made by my mighty minions.\u00a0 \u00a0I am lucky enough to have a great staff of assistants… though even with their help, I kept falling further and further behind.<\/p>\n

This year has been… stressful, to say the least.\u00a0 \u00a0So much has been happening, it’s been overwhelming.\u00a0 \u00a0Some great things, exciting things.\u00a0 Dreams coming true.\u00a0 But there have been nightmares too.\u00a0 \u00a0I have lost friends.\u00a0 \u00a0Battled sadness and depression.\u00a0 \u00a0The worst may be yet to come.\u00a0 \u00a0I turned seventy-seven last September, and I tell you, getting old is no fun.\u00a0 \u00a0But there have been amazing times as well.<\/p>\n

I suppose that’s just life.\u00a0 \u00a0Of course, I knew that.\u00a0 \u00a0If you’ve read my stories, you know that.<\/p>\n

So much to post about… I will try and catch up some… and my minions will help… but my posts are likely to short and rushed.<\/p>\n

One highlight you may already know.\u00a0 \u00a0Emmy finalists for 2026 have been announced, and A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS nabbed nine nominations — yes, 9, not damn — including the big 0ne, Best Drama.<\/p>\n

The awards ceremony will be Monday, September 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.\u00a0 \u00a0I hope to attend… but that depends on… well, on a lot of things.<\/p>\n

(I am proud of our team, and hope we take home a few of the statues, but I will confess that I was hoping we’d get a few of the acting nominations as well.\u00a0 \u00a0But there’s always next year).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
